Violent J Sits Down with Velvet Noir Mag

The Duke of the Wicked is back on the interview circuit. Violent J recently sat down with Velvet Noir Mag for a fresh conversation that serves as a solid deep dive for both new listeners and seasoned Juggalos alike. While the interviewer appears to be a newcomer to the scene, they definitely held it down and kept the energy moving. J remained incredibly humble throughout the session, walking through some of the "staple" Dark Carnival history, such as his lifelong brotherhood with Joey (Shaggy 2 Dope) and the spiritual philosophy behind the Joker’s Cards. However, the absolute standout moment of the interview comes when J recounts a wild story from a tour stop in Memphis. According to J, the venue had a rebel flag hanging and flat-out refused to remove it. In true Juggalo fashion, the family took matters into their own hands, literally building a human pyramid to reach the rafters and take the flag down themselves. It’s these types of stories that remind us why the underground is built on a different level of loyalty and principles. Overall, the interview is a great watch and definitely worth a watch. [embed]https://youtu.be/OvnrHuHYu3A?si=E-xwn_gC5TY29XvU[/embed]
