Vanilla Ice arrested for burglary [Updated: 2/20/15]

Update [2/20/15 @ 12:55 PM]: To follow-up to the story we put up 2 days ago, TMZ.com just posted some raw footage of Vanilla Ice leaving jail for burglary on bail.  He apparently lied to the cops and his work crew about owning the house and lot where the items were taken from.  You can see his response to the media here:

Original Post: A news story just hit TMZ.com about Vanilla Ice. Typically, that's not a good thing.  Don't worry though...Ice isn't that hard up on his luck.  It looks like this is all connected to his TV show: The Vanilla Ice Project. You can read the details of what happened right here, or just read below:

Vanilla Ice has been arrested and charged with burglary and grand theft for allegedly stealing furniture, a pool heater, bicycles and other stuff from a vacant home in Florida. Lantana PD tells TMZ ... it's all connected to Ice's TV show, "The Vanilla Ice Project." Ice was renovating a nearby home and allegedly thought it was a good idea to go to the abandoned place and take the items in question. Apparently, even though the house was vacant, the rightful owner had a problem with someone jacking their belongings ... thus the burglary charge. The cops got a search warrant and recovered some of the items.
