I know a LOT of Juggalos and Juggalettes who are interested in the status of the ICP / Psychopathic lawsuit against the FBI. There ARE some updates, but it's a pretty slow process.  A lawyer that just happens to be a Juggalo hit me up because they obtained some documents from the lawsuit that are available to the public.  He also gave me a rundown of what they all mean. It's all written in legal jargon, but still relatively easy to understand.  I'll let the lawyer (Serena C.) give you the breakdown of it:
For the record, I'm an attorney, and long-time juggalo. I'm not associated with any of Psychopathic Records' law firms. I just follow what documents have been filed publicly in this case. As you know, the lawsuit filed in September 2012 only concerned the Freedom of Information Act. "FOIA" Nothing about the "hybrid-gang" label. ICP's attorneys filed a request for the information the FBI used to write the report where they call "juggalos" a "hybrid-gang". The FBI did not respond in time, so ICP's attorney's are suing the FBI to comply with the FOIA and provide that public information. (I'm guessing the FBI will argue that some of the information is not public for various reasons.) The news and your website already reported on that. Since that time, the FBI filed their response. They stated that ICP and Psychopathic Records should not be a part of the lawsuit since their attorneys made the request. ICP's attorneys did not make the request "on behalf of ICP and Psy. Records". So legally, it is as if they have no involvement in the FIOA request because they didn't make and no one made it on their behalf. ICP's attorney's decided to agree with this and they are moving forward on their own. ICP and Psychopathic Records were voluntarily dropped from the lawsuit. This really is no big deal through, since the goal is for them to get the FBI's information one way or another. It doesn't matter if the FBI realizes the information to the attorneys or ICP. It's the attorneys who will know what to do with it anyways.
So the short of it is: Psychopathic's attorneys filed a lawsuit to see why Juggalos were labeled as a gang.  The FBI responded saying that Psychopathic and ICP should not be a part of it.  Psychopathic's attorneys agreed and dropped Psychopathic and ICP from the lawsuit.  Now understand that this is just one step in a LONG line of processes to get us removed.  Once they find out how the FBI determined that Juggalos should be labeled as a gang, they'll dispute those claims and hopefully have us removed from the federal gang list.
