Strange Music's Krizz Kaliko has time and again showcased his powerful vocals over the course of his last five albums, though it's always taken a backseat to his signature rapid-fire lyrical deliver. He'll switch up his approach on his upcoming album, Go, and it's clear on "Behave" that it's been a seamless transition for the veteran artist thus far. The R&B vibe of the record sets the tone for Krizz, who offers up an interesting take on whether it's worth telling your significant other you've cheated. Strange Music head honcho Tech N9ne slides through near the end to rap about his reaction after finding out he got played. "I found a letter saying you met somebody better/Thought our love was forever/My face has never been wetter," he spits over a pulsating beat. "I had a conversation on a cruise with my wife about this,” Krizz says of the inspiration behind the record. "She asked me if she ever cheated would I want her to tell me. I said hell no. She said, 'Well if you ever cheated I would want you to tell me.' I again said hell no. You get the idea." "No need to mess up everybody's life because you got caught up in the moment," he adds. Clearly this is a concept that has real-life consequences. Choose wisely. Krizz Kaliko's Go will be released April 8 and is available for pre-order on iTunes. Additional guests on the project include fellow Strange Music members Rittz, Stevie Stone, Wrekonize, and more. Krizz will join Tech on the Independent Powerhouse Tour later this month, with schedule and ticket purchase available here.
