I'd like to think that we are a big part of the pulse of the family.  So when something happens to someone in the fam, good or bad, we want to let you know about it.  This particular story struck me because of the unbelievable treatment of a girl who was 8 months pregnant, unable to call anyone for help, and treated like shit because a cop was too ignorant to realize that his actions (or lack thereof) could do harm to this mother-to-be. Now, before I post this letter that a Juggalette who goes by the name "Rizzle Riddlebox" sent in, I do want to iterate that this is only ONE SIDE of the story. I'm sure the police officer has his own version of what happened.  So now, read this and let us know what your thoughts are:
From: Rizzle Riddlebox Hello fam!!! I want to let the fam know about my precious new little daughter and her amazing story. We need all the family's klown love and positive vibes sent our way please!!! My 4th daughter Ella Rose Scott was born 10/12/13 at 12:34pm 3lbs. 10 oz. 15 1/2 in. She was born almost 2 months early and is in NICU, where she and I will be for the next 5-6 weeks til she's able to come home. Ella has needed absolutely No help breathing on her own, her IV is out, all her tests-blood, brain, heart, digestive--ALL normal and good, and she's even breastfeeding! She can do everything a normal full term baby can do...only she is MINY :) Her story is a true miracle!!! Discussing many details with doctors and nurses, we have determined the cause 4 her early arrival. Tuesday Oct. 8th after finally driving my car after VERY expensive repairs, a cop pulled me over for my brake light not working. I told him it's recently running after $800 of repair and we would get it fixed ASAP. He then ran my license and called and double checked my insurance. I thought it was good and paid for until Oct. 19th. He said I only payed 2 months and it was expired. He then said "well the good news is I'm not gonna ticket you for the brake light, but I am going to cite you and impound the car for no insurance." I told him I lived over a mile away, no minutes on my phone to call anyone, and then the asshole watched me walk away, 8 months pregnant, crying and stressed with no way to call anyone. When I got home, I was in pain and started contractions. The next morning on my 10 year old daughter's field trip, my water broke and they transported me to a special hospital 2 hours away. They had to induce my labor, because Ella was in severe distress from her water leaking. After 16 hours of labor, Ella arrived and I am so thankful she is doing so good. She is truly a MINY ninja and I give credit to her doing so well because of a wonderful daddy, family, friends, my great-grandma in Shangrila protecting her, and the majikal formula of boobie juice. Please share our story with the fam!!! WE LOVE YOU SO MUCH!!! WHOOP WHOOP MMFWCL <3
So here's how I see it: if this officer did in fact let her walk away seeing that she was obviously pregnant and had no means to get home, then he royally fucked up.  I don't care if she was the most vile, obnoxious person that he ever pulled over...you don't let a pregnant woman venture off on her own without offering to take her home, use a phone, or SOMETHING that would ensure her safety. Rizzle has since followed up with me saying that her daughter Ella is doing GREAT in the hospital, and will be able to go home in 3-4 weeks.  Ella was born on October 12th at only 3 lbs, 10 oz in St. Cloud, MN.  Rizzle and her man Donald have decided to sue the police department due to her treatment, and is receiving some backlash from her family because of it.  Nonetheless, she's pressing on and I wish her luck with it. Having a premie in the hospital for nearly 2 months can NOT be cheap. It's usually hard to take a stance on anything when you only have one side of the story.  We'd like to hear your thoughts on the matter though.  Leave them below!
