Nick XL - "The Curse of Nick XL"

This album is sort of conceptual in nature. Frederick Loren guides you through a haunted house that represents the themes explored throughout the album. As the tour begins, it starts off arrogant and self-obsessed (Return of The Living Dead, Whoa, Top 10) but slowly turns sinister (Gas Cap, Pitch Black, Cursed). "The ghosts are coming closer, Mr. Lauren". By the end of the tour (Success), the lines between the 2 established worlds have now become completely blurred as all of the themes of the album get tied together, and Frederick is now no longer talking to the listener, but is instead talking to me. I've now successfully created the image that I wanted for myself, but I'm not truly living my life to be able to enjoy it.
