Now I know we've already covered this topic several times, and strong evidence and speculation has the Juggalo community leaning towards Doe Dubbla as the new "Psychopathic Records Entity," but it's important to review all the information presented to us.

A few days ago Psychopathic released another mysterious image with the words "COMING SOON" spanning across the top. This new image, which features a green glowing crystalline skull suspended in the center of a dungeon-like room, is much more artistic than the previous teaser photos Psychopathic has given us. Beneath the skull on the floor is a green glowing disc containing a series of symbols, and on either wall of the room are faint etchings, one new and the other a previous symbol we've received.

So what does this all mean?

futomani chartThanks to some detective work from FLH Member Lypo, we now know that the green disc is the symbol from a Japanese religious disc known as a "futomani." The symbols represent the different deities of the Heavens, and ancient Japanese priests and scholars would strike the disc and then read the cracks to foresee a future or receive answers. Information is kind of scarce and scattered, but you can read more about futomani here:

The green skull looks almost crystal-like, which many of us know hold various legends amongst the world's religions. Most of the tales of the origin of the crystal skull however link back to ancient Mayan and Aztec culture. There are various paranormal and supernatural claims regarding the skulls, although there has been no scientific evidence to support these claims. Damballah-Wedo3-mine   As far as the symbols on the walls, both of these we've actually (sort of) seen already. The one on the left hand side is a double snake symbol, which strongly resembles another symbol Psychopathic released containing two snakes. You can read what ScottieD discovered about that here. In fact, this new symbol is shown in that article as being associated with the other one.

On the right hand wall is another symbol that looks familiarly like the first one we received (read that article here), but upon closer look you can see it is a wheel of eight tridents. I did a little research and found that this symbol is related to the deity Loa Eshu. Eshu is is protector of travelers, and has the power of over good and evil. He is also known to as the Spirit of Chaos and Trickery. And also, for those who didn't know, "Loa" is a term for a deity in Haitian Voodoo. In ScottieD's aforementioned post, you can read about the Loa Baron Samedi. Given that both the old and the new symbols refer to a Loa, maybe we should begin to focus our research directly towards Haitian Voodoo? You can read more about Eshu over at Wikipedia:

Now if course this is all speculation, in the end all we can really do is wait for Psychopathic to make the official announcement. In the meanwhile, be sure to stay tuned here to keep up to date on all the goings-on in the Underground!
