Jamie Madrox speaks on the Songs of Samhain Vol 5 LP!

For those of you who are fans of the Songs of Samhain series, Jamie Madrox took to his @pops_and_vintage IG to drop some details about the upcoming album! It'll be called Songs of Samhain: Volume 5 - Outside of Heaven! He states that there are 14 tracks and that he is essentially the curator of every part of this project! If you missed hearing a few tracks from the MNE 2026 sampler that dropped a few weeks back, you can press play on the video below.  The S.O.S. portion starts at 9 min 47 seconds. https://youtu.be/XEEBRGbNlsk?si=BdWDYabFSya7C6Ym&t=587 Now that you've heard it, check what Jamie said about the project: [gallery columns="4" ids="234602,234600,234599,234598"] And just in case you want to read it in plain text, we took the time to type it out below:

What's good yall? Tappin' in with you to try and lay some groundwork, as well as give you all the deets & behind the scenes type shit that you won't get anywhere else but right here - with me. Songs of Samhain Vol 5 Outside of Heaven is SOOO close to being complete that I can almost see the finish line. I've been working on this project for a grip now and really can't wait for yall to hear it. To explain what my interpretation of the S.O.S. series is, it's "Mood Music"... meaning when I play "It", it makes me feel a way and puts me into a "Mood." That "Mood" is always soaked in Fall, with crunchy leaves blowing around, everywhere in my mind. For the S.O.S. series I wear a few different hats. I play curator, choosing beats, arranging, writing & recording music, inviting guests to feature, as well as working out the concepts and designs that will ultimately become the finished product. I hope you feel me when I say I'm invested to the chin on this one. (LOL) but you can bet your pumpkin, I'm super serious. 1st round of deets... Songs of Samhain Vol 5 Outside of Heaven * 14 Tracks * Introduction to Pumpkin Boy & the Order of Samhain * Featuring Jeff Daniel Phillips as The Reaper Behind-The-Scenes... What's the hold up Bub? As I stated at the top, we are very close to finishing on the project. The cover art, which was beautifully painted by a very talented artist (that I'll reveal in the next message) took a little longer to finish than originally projected, and is now on its way to us in a haunted wooden crate that says "Order of Samhain / Fragile Contents" on it in neon orange paint. Once it arrives here to us, we'll bust it open with crosses and photograph it, then use those photos to make the artwork for the release. The anticipation is growing on my end and I've been hearing some interesting comments regarding the release since some of its audio was added to the MNE sampler. If you haven't heard it yet, swipe left to get right! --Jamie Madrox
