GothBoiClique Expands Underground Classic With "Yeah It's True (Deluxe Edition)"

For years, the pioneering emo-rap and melancholic trap collective GothBoiClique has maintained a cult-status grip on the underground. Their landmark project Yeah It's True originally dropped as a foundational mixtape back in 2016, finally received a wide digital and streaming platform rollout in late 2024, and has now been expanded further into a massive 28-track double-LP physical deluxe edition. The release bridges past and present by splitting its tracklist across two distinct discs. The first LP houses the original 2016 mixtape completely remastered for vinyl by YAWNS, featuring signature cuts like Lil Tracy's "Desire", Wicca Phase Springs Eternal and Døves' "Kill Me", and the Cold Hart & Lil Tracy collaboration "She Fell Asleep". The second LP serves as a treasure trove for longtime fans, compiling rare, unreleased, and sentimental deep cuts from across the collective's sprawling discography. This bonus disc features choice tracks like "Boyle Heights", "Tiramisu", and the fan-favorite collaboration "Absolute in Doubt" featuring Lil Peep and Wicca Phase Springs Eternal. Blending atmospheric production with emotionally raw lyricism, the deluxe treatment firmly solidifies Yeah It's True as a defining cornerstone of the emo-rap movement.
