Roster PSA
My policy before now has been “you get the red carpet when you join. You don’t get it when you leave.” But for the sake of our brand it can’t really work that way and I do need to clarify who is on our label and who is not. I don’t want someone else’s moves being mistaken for how we move.On January 6th, Gavyn Gunn quit Dirtcore and severed his contract.Show him some love. Book him on some shows, and check out his latest interview on zak meisters podcast. He and I have a solid friendship and are still talking every day. Just not about things that don’t serve us.With that said…Dirtcore isn’t for everyone. With my plate freed up I am talking with a few artists about joining as soon as it’s pragmatic. The official active roster as of right now is:
Samson SamsonMadd Maxxxthe God Mumm RaCrosswormBodies Below Sea Level.
Thank you to everyone on Dirtcore, and thank you to Cross who helped me grow as an artist. You helped me finally realize I actually had the potential and ability to be dope all along. There is no bad blood between me, him or the rest of the label. I wish nothing but success and fortune for Dirtcore, and I know they will achieve it. For now though, I need to carve my own path and stand on my own two feet. Much love.
The J. Hexx Project is no longer part of Dirtcore Music either due to breach of contract. But despite all this. Dirtcore Music will continue to release fresh new content with focus on the Bodies Below Sea Level project between Samson Samson and Crossworm. As Bodies Below Sea Level has posted teaser footage for their forthcoming debut music video "LOSER" filmed by Orange Cap Pictures.
While Dirtcore Music is preparing to sign more artists in the near future. Dirtcore Music also just digitally released the 2018 expanded commentary version of Crossworm's 2008 classic 'Mouth Full of Dirt'. You can check that out below!
