"2023, after years of working on feature film projects, we're excited to return to our spooky roots. We've been asked time and time again if a second season of The Witching Season will be happening. We're thrilled to finally respond with a spine-tingling "YES!" We are excited to take everything we've learned and the experience we've gained since the creation of Season I, to make the most cinematic, atmospheric, and Halloween-fueled follow-up we possibly can.
The series will once again be written and directed by series showrunner Michael Ballif (Jack-O'-Slime, Vamp Night, Halloween Special) and James Morris (Grim Pact, The Vessel). Expect to see familiar faces from our previous sinister endeavors and newcomers who have ventured into the shadows during the making of He Never Left. We love to work with those whom we have forged creative relationships with, so fans of our work will be delighted to see what we have in store.
We're thrilled to announce our partnership with David Monastiere, A.K.A. Slasher Dave, who will conjure a nostalgia-induced score that drips with Halloween atmosphere. We've also teamed up with long-time collaborator Marc Schoenbach of Sadist Art Designs who did a masterful job designing our brand new poster art, in addition to all five title cards for the episodes of Season II.
We are also very excited to be teaming up with the fine folks at Scream Team Releasing on the physical release of the series on Blu-ray, DVD, and retro VHS tape. Scream Team did such a fang-tastic job with the first season, we can think of no better home for it for Season II. "
