5 Heidelberg Project houses now burned due to arson; You can help!

This isn't something that we'd normally cover, but I think it deserves some attention.  Like the Insane Clown Posse, the Heidelberg Project has been a staple of Detroit for over 2 decades.  In the past six months, somebody has been systematically DESTROYING it.  In the past 6 months, there have been 5 fires purposely set to these houses.  Originally they were just deemed as "suspicious", but after the first couple, they were quickly deemed to be arson. While police reports have been filed, and a night patrol still monitors the neighborhood, more help is needed!  In this entire neighborhood of art projects, only 5 houses remain.  There has been vast damage, and some of the most beloved houses have been burned to the ground.  There is no rhyme or reason to why arsonists are attacking them.  Watch the 4 minute news story about the fires here:

I personally have been to the Heidelberg Project as recently as 6 weeks ago (during Hallowicked).  While I'm glad that I was able to see the project mostly intact while I was there, I would love to see it fully restored for ALL to enjoy.  The HP is a glimmer of hope in a city that's decimated with poverty.
